Headache Eliminator
Amazing Headache Relief without the Drugs!

I have experienced amazing headache relief without the use of drugs by exercising with the Total Gym.

Let me show you the exact workout routine that I use to obtain unbelievable results!  This is the workout that I do for headache relief and I have had great results (see my documentation at the bottom of the page).  I am showing this for one who suffers from frequent headaches to try, but be sure to take your phtsical condition into physical consideration and do not over-do!

I do this exercise routine at level 4 on the Total Gym.  Often, my headache will have disappeared after one set which takes about 12-14 minutes.  Sometimes I need to do a second and a third set for relief.  I have never done more than three sets consecutively.  The picture demonstrated below are from the nice cards that come along with the Total Gym.  There are over 80 different exercises.  My custom routine uses twelve of them.  Here is my exercise routine!

1.  This is my warm up exercise, I do this for a slow count of 20 with each leg.
2.  On my first set of push-ups I do the max.  I am at a max of 80 right now, and still increasing at age 51 (12/17/10).  On my second set I do a semi - max.  I don't push it as hard as the first set.  I may do 20 or 25 less (on average) than the first set.  If I do a third set, once again I go hard but not quite all out.  I usually do about 10 less than the second set.  Remember to take a drink if you're thirsty along the way.
3.  This is where the fun starts.  I normally do 16-18 reps on the first set, with 14-16 on the second and 8-10 on the third.
4.   Here is often where I start to feel the headache pain diminish.  I do the same reps as the previous exercise.
5.  Same reps as above.  I prefer doing set-ups slowly.
6.  This is the half way point.  Time to do an exercise that is not as rigorous.  This gives me a chance to rest a little.  I do this for a slow count of 20.
7.  The last 6 exercises are what the Total Gym calls "Compound Exercises."  They certainly are as they work both the upper and the lower body.  This is where I really start to feel headache pain relief.  Once again, on my first set I normally do 16-18 reps, 14-16 on the second and 8-10 on the third.   The compoupnd exercises are more effective if done slowly and under control.
8.  This is a lot harder on your arms than it appears!  Same reps as above.
9.  Leg Curl with Biceps Curl is the easiest of the compound exercises.  Once again, a little rest.   You need it after the last two.  Same reps as above.
10.  Back to real, strenuous exercises for the last three.  Same reps as above.
11.  Much harder than it looks.  Same reps as above.
12. Close it out with a great isometric exercise.  Same reps as above.

Important Keys to Success

Formerly, I worked out regularly on the Total Gym at incline level 6 (the top level).  When doing so I gained moderate headache relief.  I don't work out at a maximum level for headache relief any more.  I work out at somewhat less than max (level 4 instead of 6) with a larger number of repititons.  Often when I work out at Level 4 with 18 reps, my headache is gone after one set.  Sometimes I will quit exercising then.  Sometimes I will continue with a second and third set.

One thing that quitting after one set does is that is lets you save some of your strength if you need to exercise again the next day because of another headache, or even later on in the day.  If you work out at the max it is really hard to do it two days in a row.  I find that working out Level 4 with more reps instead of 6 does just fine for conditioning and it does better than working at the max for headache relief.  So my suggestion would be if you find you can work out at a certan level for strength, lower it by one or two and add some reps for headache relief.

The Chuck Norris Total Gym is a great piece of equipment.  Set-up time is minimal.  The workout is great, it's a total body workout.  The headache relief I have experienced from working with the Total Gym is incredible.  This is totally without prescriptions or over-the-counter medication.  Strictly by using the Total Gym workout.  It is like a gift from above!  This custom routine may be just the thing for your headaches.  Or maybe, a different routine would work better.  Take it from a man whose knickname was "The Headache", I have never experienced anything that has provided consistent headache relief like the Total Gym.

Remember, this is the workout that I use.  I am not a doctor, I don't know what kind of physical condition you are in.  Don't think that everyone can do this in the exact same fashion, level or number of reps that I do.  This is my custom workout routine on the Total Gym that has caused tremendous headache relief.  I repeat, I am not a doctor prescribing this to anyone.  If you feel this is too diffcult, move the Total Gym to a lower level of incline or don't do as many reps.  On the other hand, some may think that I am a wimp not working harder than this.  Whatever the case, I am extremely pleased with the Chuck Norris Total Gym for overall conditioning and headache relief.
